Ingredients

Main

  • 6 cups buttery crackers Club crackers, mini saltines, or similar
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 to 1 1/2 teaspoons truffle salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 3/4 cup finely grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Optional Finish

  • 1 to 2 teaspoons truffle oil for finishing after baking

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 300°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter and olive oil until glossy.
  • Stir in truffle salt and garlic powder.
  • Add crackers and toss gently until evenly coated.
  • Sprinkle in Parmesan and black pepper, tossing so the cheese clings to the crackers.
  • Spread crackers in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake for 12–15 minutes, stirring once halfway through, until dry, crisp, and lightly golden.
  • Remove from oven and, if using, drizzle lightly with truffle oil while warm. Toss gently.
  • Cool completely before serving. Crackers will crisp as they cool.

Notes

Butter carries the truffle flavor while Parmesan adds umami without overpowering. Bake low to avoid bitterness. Skip the truffle oil for kids or sensitive palates.
