Quick and Easy Focaccia

This simple and delicious bread can be made in under an hour. Mix together flour, yeast, olive oil, and salt, and then top with your favorite herbs, spices, and cheeses before baking.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 1/4 tsp instant yeast 1 packet
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp dried rosemary
  • 1 tsp garlic powder

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, yeast, and salt. Add the olive oil and warm water, and stir until a sticky dough forms.
  • Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead for 1-2 minutes until smooth.
  • Roll the dough out into a rectangle shape, about 1/2 inch thick. Transfer the dough to the prepared baking sheet.
  • Sprinkle the Parmesan cheese, rosemary, and garlic powder over the top of the dough.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and cooked through.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
