  • 3 tablespoons white miso paste
  • 1/4 cup rice vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • 1 small garlic clove finely minced
  • 1/2 cup extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • Juice of half a lime
  • Freshly ground black pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Whisk together miso paste, rice vinegar, honey, ginger, and garlic until smooth.
  • Gradually add olive oil and sesame oil while whisking to emulsify.
  • Add lime juice and black pepper, whisk until smooth.
  • Adjust seasoning with lime, honey, or miso as needed.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week. Shake well before use. Ideal as a marinade or over salads.
