This recipe is for making homemade flour tortillas that are easy to make and delicious. Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup warm water
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil

Instructions
 

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour and salt.
  • Add the warm water and vegetable oil to the bowl and mix until a dough forms.
  • Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.
  • Divide the dough into 8 equal pieces and roll each piece into a ball.
  • Using a rolling pin, flatten each ball into a thin, round tortilla shape.
  • Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Place one tortilla in the skillet and cook for about 30 seconds on each side, or until it starts to puff up and brown spots appear.
  • Repeat with the remaining tortillas.
  • Serve warm and enjoy with your favorite toppings, such as beans, cheese, salsa, or guacamole.
