Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 1/4 cups cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup salted caramel sauce
  • Sea salt flakes for topping

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan with butter or cooking spray.
  • In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Add the sugar and stir until combined.
  • Add the cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder to the saucepan and stir until smooth.
  • Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
  • Add the eggs one at a time, stirring well after each addition.
  • Add the flour and stir until just combined.
  • Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly.
  • Drizzle the salted caramel sauce over the batter.
  • Pour the remaining batter over the caramel and spread it evenly.
  • Sprinkle sea salt flakes over the top of the batter.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Let the brownies cool in the pan for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
