Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb spaghetti
  • 2 cups cooked chicken shredded
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/2 cup chopped mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup chopped celery
  • 1/2 cup chopped carrots
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F.
  • Cook spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add flour and whisk until smooth. Gradually add chicken broth and heavy cream, whisking constantly until mixture is smooth and thickened.
  • Add Parmesan cheese, parsley, mushrooms, onion, celery, carrots, and garlic. Stir until vegetables are coated with sauce.
  • Add shredded chicken and cooked spaghetti to the saucepan. Stir until everything is well combined.
  • Transfer the mixture to a 9x13 inch baking dish. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  • Remove foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
