- 1 lb spaghetti
- 2 cups cooked chicken shredded
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1/2 cup chopped mushrooms
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 cup chopped celery
- 1/2 cup chopped carrots
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 375°F.
Cook spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
In a large saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add flour and whisk until smooth. Gradually add chicken broth and heavy cream, whisking constantly until mixture is smooth and thickened.
Add Parmesan cheese, parsley, mushrooms, onion, celery, carrots, and garlic. Stir until vegetables are coated with sauce.
