  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 2 Earl Grey tea bags
  • 4 ounces dark chocolate at least 70% cacao, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon sugar or to taste
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Optional: Whipped cream for topping

Instructions
 

  • Gently warm the milk over medium heat until it simmers.
  • Remove from heat, add tea bags, and steep for 5 minutes.
  • Remove tea bags and return pan to low heat. Add chocolate and stir until melted.
  • Stir in sugar and vanilla extract, adjust sweetness if desired, and heat until steaming.
  • Serve in cups, optionally top with whipped cream.

Notes

For a dairy-free version, use unsweetened almond or oat milk. Add a pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg for a spicier note.
