Cinnamon Sugar Apple Chips (Air Fryer)

Crisp, sweet, and spiced — like autumn decided to become a snack. These apple chips are dangerously easy to make, light enough for endless handfuls, and just cozy enough to make you want to wear flannel indoors.

Ingredients

  • 2 medium apples Honeycrisp, Fuji, or Pink Lady work well
  • 1 tbsp granulated sugar or coconut sugar
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  • Preheat air fryer to 300°F (150°C).
  • Wash apples and slice very thinly (about 1/8-inch) using a sharp knife or mandoline. Remove seeds.
  • In a small bowl, mix sugar, cinnamon, and salt.
  • Lightly sprinkle both sides of the apple slices with the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  • Arrange in a single layer in the air fryer basket (work in batches).
  • Air fry 15–20 minutes, flipping halfway, until crisp and lightly golden. Watch the last few minutes closely to avoid burning.
  • Let cool — they’ll crisp up further as they sit.

Notes

• For extra crunch, leave the apples in the turned-off air fryer for 5 minutes after cooking.
• Adjust sweetness to taste or skip sugar for a naturally sweet chip.
• Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days (if they last that long).
