Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted and cooled
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a muffin tin with paper liners or grease with cooking spray.
  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  • In a separate mixing bowl, whisk together the melted butter, eggs, milk, and vanilla extract.
  • Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips.
  • Using a cookie scoop or spoon, divide the batter evenly among the muffin cups.
  • Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a muffin comes out clean.
  • Allow the muffins to cool in the pan for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
