  • Salt to taste

  • Cook spaghetti in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente.
  • While the pasta is cooking, combine the grated Pecorino Romano cheese and freshly ground black pepper in a bowl.
  • Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water and drain the spaghetti.
  • Add the reserved pasta water to the cheese and pepper mixture and stir until it forms a creamy sauce.
  • Add the spaghetti to the sauce and toss until the pasta is coated evenly.
