Banana Bread with Chocolate Chips

Ingredients
  

  • 3 ripe bananas mashed
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the mashed bananas and melted butter.
  • Add the baking soda, salt, sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
  • Add the flour and chocolate chips, and stir until just combined.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  • Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the bread comes out clean.
  • Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then remove it from the pan and transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
