- 3 ripe bananas mashed
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- Pinch of salt
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 large egg beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the mashed bananas and melted butter.
Add the baking soda, salt, sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
Add the flour and chocolate chips, and stir until just combined.
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the bread comes out clean.
