Ingredients
  

  • 1 sheet of puff pastry thawed
  • 4 oz goat cheese softened
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 lb asparagus trimmed
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh herbs such as parsley, thyme, or chives

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F.
  • Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and transfer it to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • In a small bowl, mix together the goat cheese and heavy cream until smooth.
  • Spread the goat cheese mixture evenly over the puff pastry, leaving a 1-inch border around the edges.
  • Arrange the asparagus spears on top of the goat cheese mixture, alternating the direction of the tips.
  • Drizzle the asparagus with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
  • Bake the tart for 20-25 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and the asparagus is tender.
