  • 2 cups mixed nuts almonds, cashews, pecans, walnuts — unsalted
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper optional
  • 1 teaspoon flaky sea salt

Instructions
 

  • Preheat air fryer to 325°F (160°C).
  • In a large bowl, toss nuts with olive oil and honey until coated.
  • Add chili powder, smoked paprika, cardamom, cayenne (if using), and salt. Toss until evenly spiced.
  • Spread nuts in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  • Cook 8–10 minutes, shaking halfway, until golden and fragrant.
  • Cool slightly before serving — they crisp as they cool.

Notes

Swap in any nuts you like; maple syrup makes them vegan.
