Homemade Chalupa Supremes
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1 can refried beans
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 8 chalupa shells
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 diced tomato
- 1/4 cup diced onion
- 1/4 cup sour cream
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- Brown ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
- Add taco seasoning and 1/2 cup water to the skillet. Stir until well combined.
- Add refried beans to the skillet and stir until heated through.
- Place chalupa shells on a baking sheet.
- Spoon beef and bean mixture into each chalupa shell.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese on top of each chalupa.
- Bake in the oven for 10-12 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from oven and top each chalupa with shredded lettuce, diced tomato, diced onion, and a dollop of sour cream.
