  • Popsicle molds
  • Popsicle sticks

Ingredients

  • 2 cups brewed Earl Grey tea strongly brewed and chilled
  • 1 cup milk you can use regular milk or a dairy-free alternative like almond or oat milk
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar adjust according to your preference
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon lavender extract optional

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the chilled Earl Grey tea, milk, heavy cream, sugar, vanilla extract, and lavender extract (if using). Stir well until the sugar has dissolved completely.
  • Taste the mixture and adjust the sweetness according to your preference. Add more sugar if desired.
  • Pour the mixture into the popsicle molds, leaving a little space at the top for expansion. If your popsicle molds come with a lid or cover, secure it in place. Otherwise, insert popsicle sticks into the molds.
  • Place the popsicle molds in the freezer and let them set for about 1 hour. After an hour, remove the molds from the freezer and gently insert the popsicle sticks further into the partially frozen popsicles. This will help keep the sticks in place.
  • Return the popsicles to the freezer and let them freeze completely for about 4-6 hours or overnight.
  • Once the popsicles are fully frozen, remove them from the molds by running warm water over the molds for a few seconds. This will help loosen the popsicles.
  • Enjoy your homemade London Fog popsicles immediately or store them in an airtight container or freezer bag in the freezer for later consumption.

The base of these popsicles is made with a combination of Earl Grey tea and creamy milk. The tea is steeped in the milk to infuse it with its distinct flavor and aroma. To sweeten the mixture, I add a touch of honey, which complements the tea perfectly.

But what really sets these popsicles apart is the addition of vanilla extract. The vanilla adds a subtle sweetness and depth of flavor that takes these popsicles to the next level. It’s like having a cup of London Fog in frozen form!

To make these popsicles, simply mix together the tea, milk, honey, and vanilla extract. Pour the mixture into popsicle molds and freeze until solid. Once frozen, remove the popsicles from the molds and enjoy!

These London Fog Popsicles are a refreshing and sophisticated treat that will impress your guests at any summer gathering. They’re also a great way to indulge in a little self-care and treat yourself to something special. So go ahead, give them a try and let me know what you think!
