Ingredients
  

  • 6 cups cubed seedless watermelon
  • 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 4 cups cold water
  • Ice cubes
  • Lime wedges and mint leaves for garnish optional

Instructions
 

  • In a blender, puree the watermelon until smooth.
  • Pour the watermelon puree through a fine-mesh strainer into a large pitcher to remove any pulp or seeds.
  • Add the lime juice and honey to the pitcher and stir until well combined.
  • Add the cold water to the pitcher and stir again.
  • Taste the agua fresca and adjust the sweetness or tartness as needed by adding more honey or lime juice.
  • Chill the agua fresca in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
  • To serve, fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the agua fresca over the ice. Garnish with lime wedges and mint leaves, if desired.
